Shakira von Siegburg is a beautiful 2-3 year old German Shepherd.
Shakira is a lovely mid-sized girl with a mild sweet demeanor. She is getting her bearings in a busy kennel environment and would love to be in a home rather than a big noisy kennel. At the rescue she starts out a bit shy and unsure, becoming more comfortable while remaining low-key and calm. She does love receiving belly rubs and ear scratches, and tends to stay close to her person on walks. Shakira is polite on leash and walks well with a group of dogs. When socializing with her fellow pups, she is more of a mingler than a partier.  She greets other dogs very nicely, and has even done well so far around cats. New to Westside, Shakira is still learning the ropes but already sits well and takes treats gently. We know she will blossom in a loving forever home.
